Chef George Tsoulis Halloween snacks that you will love.
INGREDIENTS
For the base:
200 gr. crystal sugar
70 gr. all-purpose flour
50 gr. cocoa
110 ml sunflower oil
2 eggs, medium
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 pinch of salt
¼ tsp. baking powder
For the filling:
50 gr. crystal sugar
20 gr. cream cheese
1 egg, medium
½ tsp. vanilla
orange confectionery colour
PREPARATION & EXECUTION
1 For the base: Preheat your oven to 150 ° C, fan assisted. We take a square baking tin with dimensions of 20x20 cm and line it with bake paper that has already been floured and buttered, and we leave it aside.
2 Pour the eggs and the sugar in a bowl and mix with a hand whisk until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is slightly fluffy.
3 Add the sunflower oil, flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, vanilla and mix again to smooth out the mixture.
4 Pour the ¼ of the mixture into a bowl, and pour the rest of the mixture into the baking tin - spread evenly with a spoon.
5 Pour the cream cheese and sugar into another bowl and beat with a hand whisk until the sugar dissolves. Add the vanilla and the orange colouring and mix again.
6 Pour this over the mixture in the tin, and then add on top of this, the ¼ of the mixture that we had kept in the other bowl. Mix with a toothpick to blend the mixture and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
7 Let cool for a while as soon as it is ready, remove from the tin mold and serve.
