INGREDIENTS
10 pieces of donuts
140 gr. chocolate couverture, finely chopped
Couverture chocolate is a very high-quality chocolate that contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter than baking or eating chocolate, and is easiest to melt down for dipping.
140 gr. thickened cream
For serving:
sugar paste
colourful chocolates
oreo cookies, cut in half
PREPARATION & EXECUTION
1 Place a saucepan over medium-high heat, pour in the cream and let it warm up. After it heats up, add the chocolate and mix with a pastry spatula, until it melts and a smooth ganache is created.
2 Then, take a donut and dip it into the ganache to cover its entire surface and then transfer it to a baking tray or cooling rack. Repeat the same process for all donuts and set aside until the chocolate has cooled.
3 Once the chocolate has cooled, decorate the donuts with sugar paste, chocolates and cookies - creating eyes & teeth.
