Salty Bag is a sustainable fashion company founded in 2013 on the island of Corfu, Greece. The business idea was conceived by the team during a Corfu Sailing Club seminar. This is a unique story carrying fond memories via upcycled bags, so best we let the Salty Bag team tell you more about it. Watch the video.

Upcycling
Salty Bag creatively reuses decommissioned sails, kites and parachutes, giving them a new life and new value. Sailcloth by its nature is a strong hard wearing material. Even after reaching its end of life at sea, a sail will retain its strong, long-lasting, weather resistant nature making it perfect for being upcycled into tough, elegant travel bags and accessories that can be enjoyed and cherished for years.
Reusability by design

We love a sail bag with its own story book
The really cool thing about this brand, is that every "Salty Bag" is uniquely designed and will have different characteristics, colour & texture, depending on the age and the use of the initial sail. Each customer receives a seas background (the ‘sail’s story) written on a card with the bag. So when someone says ‘I love your bag’, you’ve got an awesome story to tell.
