The legendary 60’s cartoon series ‘The Flintstones’, about a popular Stone Age family, takes elements of our modern world and explores what Stone Age life might have been like with a few "modern" conveniences of the 20th century.

The Flintstones is set in the Stone Age (prehistoric) town of Bedrock (pop. 2,500), and is about a working class Stone Age man's life, caveman Flintstone, and the many adventures with his family and his friends, next door neighbour and best friends, The Rubbles.

In primitive Stone Age form, Bedrock had all the comforts and "technological" features of the modern world, such as: houses made of rocks, telephones made out of shells, cars with wooden and rock structures that burn no fuel (as they are powered by one's own feet), and animals of all kinds functioned as tools, appliances and devices; like dinosaur cranes, bird alarm clocks, rabbit TV antenna, bird airplanes, mammoths for showers, pelican mailboxes, cat brooms, stegosaurus food processor, pig garbage disposal, crab lawnmowers, monkey lights, and much more.

The Flintstones taught us the value of family and the importance of friendships, these are the most important belongings and real possessions in life - you don’t need impressive technology to live a happy and fulfilled life.

Maintaining a healthy working life allows you to establish a healthier family life. The Flintstones teach us to live a happier life:

Have passion in your job - Be passionate about what you do; to be both happier, and more productive at work.

Be modest and learn to be kind - Support others through rough times.

Believe and don't give up - Believing in yourself allows you to grow as a person and encourages you to do more in life.

Learn from your mistakes - Mistakes are stepping stones to wisdom; never stop learning and growing, and make better decisions.

Choose who you want to be - You can allow yourself to be a negative person or a positive one.

Make a difference - We are all intellectual, social classes (lower, middle or upper class) should not define citizens. We can all be influential, stylish, and enjoy the same privileges.

Develop humility - Be curious but always stay humble, seek knowledge, rise from experiences and discover the opportunity to learn.

Be excited about life - “Yabba dabba doo!” is the catchphrase of Fred Flintstone (this is an expression of happiness or excitement). Accomplish more out of life. Yabba dabba doo! I'm off work!
